WHAT CAN I FEED MY GREAT DANE?
⦁    NO GRAIN FREE!!! Grain free food doesn't have the correct taurine levels for a Great Dane and can cause heart issues such as cardiomyopathy.
⦁    Protein levels are one of the main things to look at when choosing a food.
⦁    Puppy food until 5 months of age. Protein levels should be around 27%
⦁    After 5 months you need to switch to an adult food.
⦁    "Large Breed Food" isn't made for Great Danes because they are a Giant Breed and isn't necessarily a good choice.
⦁    Protein levels should be between 21-23% for adult food.
⦁    Too much protein will cause your Dane to grow too tall too fast and can cause hip problems, wobblers, etc.
⦁    Below are the foods we have used for over 10 years. We highly reccomend using these foods for your Dane. Not using these may void your health guarantee however, we don't want to tell you that you
HAVE to use these foods so as long as the food isn't grain free and has the correct protein levels it should be fine. Just ask beforehand.
